Rep. Takano’s Endorsement of 32-Hour Workweek Act

I’m not completely sure how I feel about this. I would need to understand more of what all is in the bill and what it affects beyond having OT kick on after 32 hours for non-exempt workers. I’m also concerned that this could stop some of the wage gains that we are seeing as of late. I’ll have to find the article, but companies are budgeting for the largest increases in payroll for more than 20 years.

However, I do like that there is a push. Hopefully companies will respond and keep government intervention out.
