9to5 Mac on Apple giving $1000 to employees for home office

While they do suggest gear in here (we do not get any commission or any other fiscal benefit from you going to 9to5Mac), it is merely interesting that Apple is doing this considering how hard they were trying to get people back in the office. It appears that their drive to do so has led to some turnover (surely contributing to some of the “Great Resignation” numbers), thus requiring Apple to reconsider their stance on work from home policies.

We learned back in December that Apple has yet again delayed its return to the office. It was also reported that Apple gives employees $1,000 bonuses to spend on home office gear. When I read that, I thought to myself – what would the best use of it be?
