The need for office space
by Frank Butler The WSJ posted an article about startups not needing office space, especially early on. Certainly has a significant impact on the cash flow and equity needs when leases aren’t part of the equation. Plus with shared spaces like WeWork or eSpaces, there are plenty of affordable alternatives to give you that flexibility when needed. But is there a people cost or an impact on R&D and innovation? Or are there impacts on QC during development? This does give startups some nimbleness and flexibility of location. Some VCS may encourage you to move to an incubator closer to them.
